Emma Rodman, a girl who aspires to be a knight, hails from the planet Hydra, ruled by the Banfield Earl family in the interstellar country, the Algrand Empire.

Since childhood, she has admired the knights who pilot humanoid weaponized mobile knights, and she aims to become one herself.

She aspires to be a strong and kind knight of justice, but she fails miserably in her first battle.

Emma receives a "D-rank" evaluation, deemed a failure as a knight, and is sent to a border security force.

Despite this setback, Emma remains undeterred and strives to be a knight. However, the members of her assigned mobile knight squad are all problematic individuals.

Can Emma, leading a team of problematic individuals, become a knight of justice?
