"Damn it, damn it, damn it! This isn't a joke! How can we fight such a monster! We're getting out of here, everyone!"
At an intermediate dungeon, a cave on the outskirts of the capital.
The guild leader, Aselus, and the members of *The Great Serpent of the Flaming Sky* were live-streaming their dungeon exploration. However, they suddenly encountered a dangerous A-rank monster—the Flame Dragon—and were now forced to retreat.
"Whoa!?"
As Aselus was running ahead, a monster's attack struck him. It was from a wolf-type monster that appeared from behind.
The attack didn't hit Aselus directly, but he was nearly slashed by the sharp claws. He turned and shouted at the guild members behind him.
"Hey, what are the rear guards doing!? We're getting ambushed by monsters!"
"Well, what can we do when they suddenly appear, Guild Leader!?"
"Damn it, we need to escape first! We'll pause the stream!"
[What, what? You didn't achieve your goal again this time.]
[Bad news: *The Great Serpent of the Flaming Sky* is declining.]
[Well, it's understandable with a Flame Dragon. That's an A-rank monster, right?]
[But, weren't you clearing monsters more efficiently a while ago?]
[If you can't defeat monsters, stop streaming dungeons. Just post annoying videos.]
[Uploading a video of the guild members in sexy costumes. Check it out if you're interested!]
[Even trolls are showing up.]
[↑ A weird ad video appeared. How can I see the sexy costumes?]
[Laughs, you got scammed.]
[Sigh, this guild has been like this for about half a year.]
[Did something happen half a year ago?]
[Did the guild leader fire someone? Could that be the reason?]
[I can't remember.]
[The video I just checked was deleted by the platform. I can't even tell who left. Haha.]
[Does firing one person really make that much of a difference?]
[Who knows? That one person might have been super competent.]
[If that's the case, Aselus is pretty incompetent for kicking them out.]
[He's overconfident, that's why this happens. Haha.]
[But, the guild's annoying streams are still popular. They can probably survive on that.]
Snap—.
Aselus, the guild leader of *The Great Serpent of the Flaming Sky*, glanced at the comments streaming by, then ended the communication with the micro-spirit and stopped the stream.
Escaping from the ambushing monster, he was gasping for breath, leaning on his knees and cursing.
"Damn it... You think it's because I fired Goush? There's no way that's the reason!"
Aselus angrily pounded the cave wall. The other guild members, seeing his agitated state, decided not to get involved.
"Yeah... Lately, we've been getting ambushed a lot, and our performance has been off. Running into a new type of Flame Dragon just now was pure bad luck."
Muttering to himself, Aselus tried to maintain his composure.
Incidentally, there was someone who could have easily defeated the monster that Aselus decided to flee from with a single strike. That person had been a member of the guild until half a year ago.
Unaware of this, Aselus raised his head and snorted.
"Hmph, well, it's fine. Even without forcing ourselves to defeat monsters, our other streams are doing well lately."
Lately—more accurately, since the stream where he expelled Goush and got a taste of it—Aselus's planned streams had been recording good numbers in a certain genre.
This genre was known as annoying videos.
—Exposing the private information of famous streamers.
—Complaining at a restaurant and laughing at the owner's reaction.
—Claiming to test the faith of worshippers by causing a commotion near the capital's church.
—Making female guild members wear revealing outfits and secretly filming men's reactions in the city. And so on.
While some of these videos were deleted by the FairyTube platform, Aselus favored this genre as a quick way to attract attention.
"The current streaming market is all about getting attention. Who cares if it bothers others? We don't need to rely on outdated monster-hunting streams. Our guild can still rise to the top. I'll create a new trend with my own hands!"
Aselus smirked and muttered this, but no guild member was there to point out the dangers.
