The long story told by Rosweyze went something like this:

First, there was a lot of flirting and sarcasm from some noble soldiers, followed by their attempts to recruit Lambert and me into the military. Most of the content was complaints about these attempts.

Additionally, she talked about reuniting with Gerhilde, who was happy that Lambert had a partner. Gerhilde declared that she would also find a partner, and they came to this battlefield together.

Lambert had grown a lot, no longer fainting, and had become much stronger in battle.

She even mentioned that the reason I didn't have an avatar was due to budget constraints.

While most of the talk was complaints, it was still quite useful. However, it cost me four hours of sleep, and I spent two hours on refueling the machine, taking a bath, and buying food, leaving me with only six hours left.

Still, it was better than not sleeping at all, so I went to bed immediately after Rosweyze hung up.

When I woke up, it was almost time to leave the colony. To avoid the morning rush, I waited until everyone else had left before heading out and returning to Itz.

However, due to the gate, the journey took more than twice as long as the trip there.

After two full days of travel, I finally arrived at the mercenary guild on planet Itz in the afternoon of the third day.

I wanted to go home immediately, but I had to pay Loanz, so I headed to the lobby where the guild's reception was.

In the lobby, the guild was giving a grand welcome to Lambert of "Feathered Helmet" and Arthur, who had been promoted to the knight class due to this mission.

Even though they were the emperor's guards, they were still mercenaries and had been quite active in battle.

Rosweyze and Seira were also among the crowd.

I avoided the commotion and went to Loanz's window.

"I'm back."

"I'm glad you didn't skip out on the payment."

We exchanged these words with a smile and bumped fists.

"The reward is already out. It seems each mercenary gets 5 million credits."

"That's quick and generous. I thought it would be a hassle and a low payment."

The Earl of Icora was quick with the payment for the terrorist operation on planet Teura, but with the many corrupt nobles in the military and government who didn't participate in the rebellion, I expected a lot of trouble and a low payment.

"It's thanks to the emperor's consideration."

"That's very kind of him."

Even if it was for popularity, this kind of consideration is why the current emperor has such high support.

While thinking about this, I took 300,000 credits in cash and the rest in information as my reward, and gave 100,000 credits to Loanz.

"Here, this is for the map."

"Thank you. This will help me buy the sports gear my daughter wanted!"

Loanz happily put the cash in his pocket and asked,

"Was the map useful?"

"It was useful, but I didn't really need it."

"That's a shame. Sorry to have you spend so much."

Despite his words, Loanz seemed somewhat pleased.

Then, looking at the crowd, he said,

"By the way, Lambert and Arthur are apparently invited to a consolation party hosted by the emperor. It's probably a long way off, though."

"Ugh, that sounds like a hassle!"

Rosweyze and Seira would be furious to hear this.

"So, what are you going to do now?"

"I want to go home and sleep, but I have to stop by somewhere first. I'll probably take a break for a while starting tomorrow."

After finishing my business and having this conversation with Loanz, I left the guild, ignoring the commotion inside.

First, I went to the bank and transferred 1.7 million credits, one-third of my reward, to my parents. The exact amount would have been 1,666,666... so I rounded it up to 1.7 million.

The city was filled with joy over the suppression of the rebels, the lifting of information and martial law, and the arrest of many corrupt nobles. Displays and posters praising the emperor were everywhere.

Even the black market was no exception, but the displays and posters had a suspicious feel, like "Praise the holy empress who holds the treasure of the deep sea!" or "Offer our bloodline to the blood-soaked princess who upholds justice!"

The butcher was selling two types of meat, "The descendant of the winged dragon that fell to slime, imprisoned in the source of the sea" and "The descendant of the winged dragon that fell to slime, drowned in the tears of the one who spread and transformed on the land," for 50 credits per 200 grams. They had just fried some, so I ended up buying 400 grams of "The descendant of the winged dragon that fell to slime, imprisoned in the source of the sea."

Other shops were having special sales, like "Mandrake Salad" and "Tender Boiled Orc Meat" at a deli, "Jack-o'-Lantern Special" and "20% off Golden Apples (Peach of Immortality)" at a greengrocer, and "New Nectar Arrival!" at a liquor store.

Enjoying the unique bustle of the market, I headed to Patterson Pharmacy.

The inside of the pharmacy was the same as always, with Gonzales reading a newspaper.

"Hey."

So, I entered the pharmacy as usual, and

"Welcome. ...Oh, it's you. It seems you didn't meet the suspicious prime minister of the neighboring country."

"He was apparently on the battlefield, but he fled because of the 'Oni God.'"

I brought a chair and sat across the counter.

"Thanks to that, you didn't die, right?"

"Maybe it was also thanks to the 11th Fleet."

We exchanged our usual banter.

"So, what do you need?"

"The usual candy. And to thank you for the map, even though I didn't use it."

"Okay."

Gonzales placed the usual candy on the counter and said,

"But if you're going to thank me, you should bring a gift."

So, I placed the "The descendant of the winged dragon that fell to slime, imprisoned in the source of the sea" on the counter.

"That's from Arrowan's Monster Meat Shop, isn't it?"

"It was just fried, so I couldn't resist..."

Gonzales took two carbonated drinks from the fridge and gave one to me. I opened the container of "The descendant of the winged dragon that fell to slime, imprisoned in the source of the sea." It was still warm, and steam was rising.

We opened the caps of the carbonated drinks and silently toasted. The plastic bottles didn't make a good sound, but it was a moment of camaraderie.

Incidentally, three months later, the following sentences were handed down to those who participated in the rebellion:

- Civilians who were forcibly conscripted: 12 million credits in fines or up to 2 years in prison.

- Civilians who volunteered for the uprising: Minimum 5 years in prison, with additional severe penalties on a case-by-case basis.

- Nobles who were forcibly involved in the uprising: 540 million credits in fines or up to 5 years in prison.

- Nobles who voluntarily participated in the uprising: Stripping of titles, confiscation of land, minimum 10 years in prison, and possible death penalty.

- Key figures who incited the uprising: Stripping of titles, confiscation of land, and public execution.

Some nobles appealed, but their appeals were rejected.

Actually, it was discovered that the amount of Mob's father's debt significantly affected Mob's annual income.

Common Conditions:

- Mob's employment period is 7 years until the debt is fully paid off.

- Mob's income varies by year, so the total is averaged.

- Mob allocates one-third of his income to the debt, so his income is three times the amount sent home.

- Repayment from his parents is not considered; only the amount sent home by Mob is used for repayment.

- Any amount less than 1 credit is rounded down.

Condition 1: If the debt was 50 million credits:

- The annual amount sent home would be 7,142,857 credits, and the annual income would be 21,428,571 credits.

Condition 2: If the debt was 100 million credits:

- The annual amount sent home would be 14,285,714 credits, and the annual income would be 42,857,142 credits.

Condition 3: If the debt was 200 million credits:

- The annual amount sent home would be 28,571,428 credits, and the annual income would be 85,714,284 credits.

Considering that Mob was framed for the noble's mistake and forced to resign, I think the debt was around 100 million credits. He probably earned a lot in the 3rd to 6th years.
