New profiles, badges and an avatar maker

Comments are a big part of this site, and the people writing them deserve more than a plain username. So from today, every member has a public profile.

Your profile

Open the account menu and tap My profile, or tap anyone's name in the comments to see their card. A profile has:

• an avatar, a banner and a short bio
• your badges, and a cultivation realm that grows with the number of chapters you've read
• your comments and reviews, and your library if you choose to share it
• reading stats: chapters read, novels finished, hours spent reading

Your library stays private unless you turn it on, and you can hide your reading stats too. Both switches are in Settings.

Make your own avatar

There's a new avatar picker in Settings. Two ways to use it:

• Pick a ready-made one. Cultivators, danmei leads, manhwa and anime looks, and more.
• Build your own. Choose the face, hair, outfit, background and items yourself.

New accounts start with a random avatar, so if you just signed up you already have one. Change it whenever you like.

After 20 comments you can also upload your own picture and banner instead.

Badges

Badges come from doing what you already do here. A few of them:

• Cultivation for chapters read, from Qi Condensation at 100 chapters up to Immortal Ascension at 25,000
• Voice for comments, Critic for reviews, Collector for novels in your library
• Old Guard if you were around on the old site, and Early Adopter if you join the new one before 2027

You can show up to three next to your name, or use one as your title.

Reputation and the leaderboard

When people upvote your comments or mark your reviews as helpful, your reputation goes up. It unlocks a few extras along the way:

• name colors at 10
• avatar rings at 100
• gradient names and glowing rings at 500
• animated names at 2,500

Some badges come with their own animated avatar frames as well.

The leaderboard shows the top members by reputation, chapters read, comments and reviews.
